As a part of a grant from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), we were commissioned by Taste the Local Difference to produce six short promotional documentaries, as well as short video clips and photography for the farmers to use for their own marketing efforts. We spent an entire day with each farm, digging deep on the ways they serve their communities.

Spending full days with each farmer allowed for some formal moments as well as some unplanned moments. We find that making space for those unscripted moments is an important way to make media that feels real.
