Festival of Faith & Writing

The Festival of Faith & Writing is an ecumenical literary festival that typically hosts over 2,000 people for an in-person weekend of lectures & conversations in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In 2022 the festival switched to virtual, so we worked with the Center for Faith and Writing team to produce talks and conversations that could be presented to online attendees. Media was produced both in-person and virtually, as the process needed to remain flexible to capture high-quality material but also meet various comfort levels in the midst of the lingering pandemic. The event was also the premiere of a documentary Jon produced while on-staff with the Festival team, Katherine Paterson: Written Together.
